Ramadan, the holiest month in the Islamic calendar wherein Allah(SWT) sent the first verses of the Holy Quran to our Prophet Muhammad. It is the time for renewing faith and purifying heart and soul for the millions who share in the Muslim faith around the world. Ramadan also evangelizes to better practice self-discipline, self-control, sacrifice and empathy for those who are less fortunate; thus encouraging actions of generosity and charity. The world is going through severe obstacles at different places. We are not so susceptible to help our own natives every time we want. The most prevailing aid is to pray to the Almighty for whom nothing is impossible to enact.
North South University Social Services Club welcome you all to this year’s Annual Doa Mahfil to be held on the 7th of June 2018 to observe the holy spirit of Ramadan. We will be assembled together to seek our Almighty’s mercy and blessings on our lives, friends, family and humankind. Maybe we cannot help the less fortunate ones every single day, but we can beseech for their better luck with to Allah (SWT). We are hoping for your kind participation to arrange the Doa Mahfil in a well-organized way.
